It took a while before the LG G3 Marshmallow became available since it was first released in Poland. But now, LG G3 Android 6.0 Marshmallow is finally rolling out on T-Mobile and AT&T. According to several tech websites, Google developers are now testing the Android N while Android device manufacturers are still concentrating on updating their software to Marshmallow. This is the case of G3, LG’s flagship phone since 2014.

LG G3 can now receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, which caused major relief for users as they have been frustrated about the lack of updates. The waiting game is over and finally, two carriers are starting to roll out the update.

However, all AT&T subscribers should know that not all updates are available for everyone at the same time. Nashville Chatter1 wrote that the company would usually phase out updates so it will take a while before the Android 6.0 Marshmallow is fully available for everyone to download. The only thing certain is that the update is guaranteed to arrive on the device. To those who want to be in the loop, it is possible to manually check the availability of the software and see if it is already available for download. Doing this task should be easy as it will only need access to the Settings app. Users simply need to go to “About” and proceed by choosing “Software Information.”

T-Mobile users, on the other hand, will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update through the LG PC Suite, despite the unavailability of the OTA update until now.

However, considering the fact that LG G3 units can now run the update through PCs, it means the OTA update will roll out soon.

T-Mobile previously announced in October that they will start making Android 6.0 available, so the news about its update for the G3 is not surprising, according to TMO News2.
