Moto G4 Update: Device Might Be Priced High Compared To Earlier VersionsThe Chinese technology company Lenovo is expected to release the next version of its Motorola mobile series in a few months time. The latest update for the much-awaited Moto G4 suggests that the smartphone would be launched with a little higher budget bracket as compared to its predecessors i.e. it would be placed closer to a mid-budget segment.

The main reason behind the price hike is being considered as the new specs that would be integrated into the device. Recombu1 reported that the Moto G4 is anticipated to feature a redesigned camera with improved look and feel. Besides, the other specs that the new Moto G4 smartphone will include are reported to be a 5.2-inch screen with a 1080 resolution. Also, one of the latest mid-range Qualcomm processors, like Snapdragon 430 is expected to be included in the new device. These improvements are expected to attract more customers and indirectly make them neglect the price. Also, the reports suggest that Lenovo will also launch a more advanced version of the new Moto G4 phone, titled as Moto G4 Plus. This new smartphone is reported to include a fingerprint scanner as an additional feature, reported First Post2. In addition, there are reports that the new Motorola model could showcase the Moto by Lenovo brand tag as the company was acquired by the Chinese mobile giant, Lenovo. Meanwhile, Yibada3 reported that the speculations of the upcoming Moto G4 started making a troll over the internet when few pictures of the new smartphone were leaked online.

There are reports that one of the users of the Chinese social networking website, Weibo, recently posted few images of the device ahead of its release. The picture shows a smartphone that skips the prominent top and bottom speaker grills of Moto G3 and rather gets a home button doubling up as a fingerprint scanner, reported Christian Daily4. The leaked picture also shows a new camera setup which could be the use of better autofocus and new image sensor too. Further, the leaked pictures have brought forward the gossips about the release date of the much-awaited smartphone. To add on to the speculations, Lenovo CEO, Yang Yuanqing, teased the probable launch of the new device. CEO Yang Yuanqing apparently acknowledged, during the launch event of the ZUK Z2 Pro smartphone, that Motorola will launch a new handset on June 9, reported Vine Report5. But Yuanqing did not announce the device name to be introduced in June.

Not long ago, Motorola promised that Moto G 2016, Moto X 2016 and Moto E 2016 were in the offing.
