Samsung Galaxy S7 gets new pink version

Samsung has unveiled a new edition of the warmly received Galaxy S71, some two months after the device was first unveiled at Mobile World Congress. The new Pink Gold version is not to be confused with the Rose Gold used by Apple on its iPhones. That despite the fact that the colours appear almost identical. The fresh colourway is available from April 20th in Samsung s home territory of Korea and will be hitting select markets soon. It joins already existing black, white, silver and platinum gold models.

Specs remain the same, meaning the device comes with a Super AMOLED 5.1 inch screen, Android Marshmallow, fingerprint scanner, 12 megapixel camera and always on display. The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have enjoyed massive critical acclaim since launch. Samsung is yet to reveal quarterly sales figures for the device, but numbers are expected to be in the tens of millions.
